Construction in the Rose Garden and the new White House flagpole.

Washington – President Donald Trump arrived on Marine One on Monday and immediately went to visit with construction workers who are installing two projects for him.

First he made his way toward the East Wing where a construction crew and an excavator were in place working on a new 150 foot flagpole. The President was given a briefing on the construction and then posed for a photo with the workers before making his way to the press pen.

After a quick question on the California riots, the President then went to the Rose Garden where another crew was working on what is believed to be a new patio flooring system the President has requested. Details remain sketchy but the President has noted the Rose Garden can get very muddy during press conferences and events and he would like to install a patio structure like the one he has in Mar-a-Largo.

Trump has said he will pay out of his own pocket for both projects.
